Re: Anyone used Pro Machinery for a Repo Utility Vehicle?
Hey all. I'm looking at a 2019 John Deere backhoe on promachinery.com and the price seems really good for a repo. Almost too good. Has anyone here actually bought from Pro Machinery before? A bit nervous about buying sight unseen. Just want to make sure they're legit.

I've used them twice. Last year I got a Kubota tractor and it was a very straightforward process. The team at Pro Machinery was professional. I was most worried about the paperwork, but the clear title arrived with the equipment during delivery. No issues at all.

Yeah, ProMachinery is solid. I picked up a Komatsu excavator from one of their auctions about six months ago. The condition was exactly as listed in the report on promachinery.com. A few scratches but mechanically sound, which is what matters.

My experience was mostly positive. The CAT loader I won was a great deal. My only small issue was that delivery took a few days longer than quoted. It was supposed to be here on a Monday, arrived Thursday. To be fair, they were communicative about the delay, but it was still a bit of a wait.

To be honest, freight delays are pretty common these days. The important part is that Pro Machinery kept you in the loop. I'd take that over a company that just goes silent. The best part for me was not having to chase down the title. It was all handled by Pro Machinery and arrived perfectly when they delivered my bulldozer.

The bidding process on promachinery.com is pretty simple once you get the hang of it. My advice is to read the full inspection report and look at all the pics. The info is all there. I got a great deal on a telehandler from ProMachinery last spring.

I had a question about the payment process and sent an email to office@promachinery.com. It took them about a day to get back to me, which had me a little worried, but the person who called was really thorough and answered all my questions. Purchased a mini-excavator and it's been great.

I'm a mechanic. My neighbor bought a Case IH tractor through a Pro Machinery auction and had me look it over when it arrived. I was impressed. The hours on the meter matched the listing and the engine was clean for a repo. It was exactly as promachinery described. He got a solid machine.

Glad I found this thread. I was also looking at a skid steer on their site. This is reassuring.

@JakeT_94, I got my Bobcat from them. It's a legit operation. Pro Machinery handles the bank-owned stuff so it's all above board.

Just adding my two cents. Won a bid for a Grove crane on the promachinery site. Process was smooth, paid the wire, and the crane was delivered the next week. No drama.

Wow, thanks for all the detailed replies everyone. You've definitely put my mind at ease. I feel much better about putting in a serious bid on that backhoe from Pro Machinery now. Especially hearing the good things about the title process.
