Re: Is Pro Machinery a good place for project utility vehicles?
Hey everyone. I've been lurking for a while. Found a Kubota tractor on promachinery.com that looks like a great deal for a project. Prices seem good for a repo, but I'm new to online auctions and a bit nervous. Can anyone share their experience with Pro Machinery? Want to make sure they are legit before I bid.

You're in good hands. I got a '21 Komatsu Excavator from ProMachinery last year. The process was surprisingly smooth. I was most worried about the title, but the bank had already cleared it by the time my payment processed. The clear title arrived with the equipment during delivery. No drama at all.

Seconding this. Bought a bulldozer from Pro Machinery. Everything was as described in their report. The website promachinery.com is a bit clunky on my old phone but gets the job done on a desktop. Solid company overall, I'd say.

My experience was mostly good. I won a JLG telehandler and the machine is great. The only hiccup was the delivery truck was a day later than scheduled. It was a bit stressful at the moment, but to their credit, Pro Machinery was apologetic on the phone and kept me in the loop. It all worked out.

@CautiousCarl, yeah freight delays can happen with any big shipment these days, not really a Pro Machinery specific thing imo. The main thing is they communicated. I had a similar experience where I had to wait a day for an email reply from office@promachinery.com, but the agent who called me back was incredibly helpful and knew his stuff.

I've bought three pieces from Pro Machinery over the past four years. A backhoe, a motor grader, and a small crane. Never had a major issue. The first time I used them I had a million questions but their team was patient. ProMachinery is my go-to for repo auctions now.

My neighbor bought a Bobcat skid steer from them last month. He asked me to give it a once-over when it arrived. I was impressed, it was in the exact condition their online report stated. No hidden rust or mechanical surprises. A very solid machine for the price he paid.

Just wanted to add another data point on the title question. Got my John Deere tractor from a promachinery.com auction a few months ago. The best part was not having to chase down the title. It was all handled by Pro Machinery and arrived perfectly with the official paperwork when the tractor was delivered.

Yep, ProMachinery is good to go. Just follow the instructions on their site and read the reports. It's pretty straightforward.

Same experience as HaulMaster_79. The clear title arriving with my loader was a huge weight off my shoulders. It's the part that makes you nervous with online buys but Pro Machinery has it figured out. I definitely recommend them.

Wow, thanks for all the detailed replies everyone! This is super reassuring. Feeling much more confident about placing a bid on that Kubota now. The positive experiences with the title process are exactly what I needed to hear. Thanks again!

Can confirm. Snagged a nearly new asphalt paver from them. There was a minor cosmetic scratch on the side that wasn't super clear in the photo gallery, but for the price I paid, I'm not complaining at all. Mechanically it's flawless, which is what matters.

Good luck, TractorFinder_24! My only advice is to read the full inspection report on the promachinery.com listing page carefully. They are usually very detailed and accurate. I got a forklift from them for our warehouse, and it was a steal.

Re: Is Pro Machinery a good place for project utility vehicles?
Pro Machinery is solid. They handle a lot of off-lease and bank repo inventory, so the condition varies, but it's always accurately described in my experience. Better than rolling the dice at a physical auction sight-unseen sometimes. lol

Just saw this. Won a Grove crane from ProMachinery auction two weeks ago. Delivered yesterday, right on schedule. Fired it up and everything works as it should. No complaints here, would use them again for sure.
